As a former professional endurance athlete with twelve plus years in the elite road cycling and triathlon arena, I’ve experienced over and over products that have been touted as the holy grail of performance. 

In the end, all of these products (at best) provided a marginal placebo type of effect and nothing seemed to withstand all the hype.  This leads me back to the three basic pillars of performance/fitness: good diet, good sleep, hard work (training).

At age 42, I have the wisdom to know there are no shortcuts to performance and fitness-the basics do work. 

I’ve seen trends in diets come and go and also trends in training methodology come and go.  In the end and as stated it all comes back to the balance between physical training stressors, good nutrition, and perhaps as I age the most important: rest and recovery…meaning: SLEEP!

I have been using the CBD tincture oil most nights now for about three months and can honestly and whole heartily say that the quality of my sleep is the best I can ever remember.

As an athlete as well, the sense of feeling clean in my body and my mind are a priority.  I do not consume much alcohol or take in other substances due to this fact. 

One could call me more “straight and narrow”.

I have always been on the more anxious side of things-which has its benefits in terms of pushing me to never settle for mediocrity-always striving for excellence but again as I age this low-grade anxiety has interfered with my ability to find some ease and sleep better. 

The 43CBD tincture has gently taken the edge of my high achiever anxiety- letting me sleep and rest better but then also letting my strong work ethic come to the surface.
